Condensate pans, if left untreated, can suffer from the build-up of sludge, scum, and other accumulations, leading to odors, plugged drains, and overflows, which in turn result in water damage. To address this issue, Pan-Treat has been formulated with ingredients proven effective in cleaning and preventing these deposits, eliminating the extra maintenance costs associated with such problems.

Pan-Treat is extremely easy to use, as it is completely soluble in water and does not form any deposits in the pan or drain. Moreover, it is safe, non-corrosive, non-toxic, and biodegradable, making it an environmentally friendly solution.

For condensate pans that are noticeably fouled, the product can be used by applying two or more Pan-Treat tablets per ton of system capacity. This process should be repeated until the system is clean. For subsequent treatment or clean condensate pans, one Pan-Treat tablet per ton should be used each month, positioned away from the drain and where they will achieve maximum contact with dripping condensate. This ensures more complete cleaning action and treatment.

For larger systems where the use of many tablets may be impractical, Nu-Calgon's PanPads condensate pan products can be utilized.

Pan-Treat tablets can also be used to condition humidifier water, preventing odors and deposit build-up. In this application, 2-4 tablets should be used every four to six weeks, and the humidifier reservoir should be cleaned and rinsed out on a regular basis.
